6. Applications and Verification

Applicants are responsible for ensuring that all submitted information is accurate, complete, and current.

Made in Doha may request additional information to verify eligibility.

False statements, misleading product-origin claims, fraudulent documentation, or misuse of the organization’s identity may result in rejection, suspension, or termination of participation.

Unless otherwise stated in a specific agreement, submitting an application does not guarantee approval or access to future commercial opportunities.

8. Upcoming Online Marketplace

Marketplace participation will be subject to additional seller requirements and operational policies.

These may include:

  • Seller registration and verification.
  • Product listing standards.
  • Pricing and payment arrangements.
  • Delivery and shipping responsibilities.
  • Customer service requirements.

Additional marketplace terms will be published before commercial transactions become available.

9. Responsibilities of Sellers

When the marketplace becomes operational, participating sellers will be responsible for the accuracy, legality, quality, and safety of their products and listings.

Sellers must comply with applicable laws, including those concerning commercial licensing, consumer protection, product safety, intellectual property, advertising, and taxation.

Sellers must not offer counterfeit, prohibited, misleadingly described, or unlawfully marketed goods.

Made in Doha may remove listings or suspend sellers who violate applicable requirements.

The organization will define whether it acts as a marketplace intermediary or as the direct seller for particular transactions before those services launch.

10. Consumer Rights

Made in Doha respects applicable consumer protection laws in Qatar and other jurisdictions where its services may operate.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.

When the marketplace launches, customers will receive information about prices, sellers, delivery arrangements, cancellations, refunds, and complaint procedures as required by applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, original website content, organizational publications, photographs, designs, and other materials owned or lawfully licensed by Made in Doha are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Users may not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, or misrepresent protected materials without authorization, except where permitted by law.

Participants retain ownership of their original work, designs, photographs, trademarks, and other intellectual property.

By submitting promotional materials, participants grant Made in Doha a non-exclusive, limited license to use those materials for agreed organizational, recognition, and promotional purposes, subject to any applicable consent requirements.

12. Accuracy of Information

Made in Doha seeks to provide reliable information about local creators, products, craftsmanship, and cultural heritage.

However, historical descriptions, participant profiles, product information, and other published content may contain inaccuracies or require updates.

The organization may correct or remove information when appropriate.

Users should independently verify information that is material to purchasing, contracting, or other important decisions.
